1. IMMACULATE HEART ACADEMY (19-1) -- After having a sluggish three games offensively, the Blue Eagles broke out in the county semifinals, beating Paramus Catholic for the third time this year, 65-34, to advance to next week’s final against Immaculate Conception.  IHA also beat Holy Angels on Tuesday on the road (35-30) and Ramapo at home (35-29) on Thursday.

2. EASTSIDE (17-3) -- Cruised to three more wins capped by the Passaic County Tournament quarterfinal win over Lakeland, 65-45.  They also posted wins over Passaic and Passaic Tech, 55-37.

3. IMMACULATE CONCEPTION (20-5) --  Advanced to the Bergen County final with a matter of fact 55-40 win over Saddle River Day on Sunday. Also had wins over Union Catholic (55-32) and Morris Hills (57-39).

4. SECAUCUS (21-0) -- Looks like the Patriots will remain unbeaten at least until the Hudson County title game where they could meet Lincoln or North Bergen.  Last week they knocked off New Milford, Harrison and Queen of Peace easily.

5. LINCOLN (16-4) -- Knocked off league rival North Bergen in a close game, 51-48, and will most likely will see the Bruins again in the County semis. Had terrific 52-38 win over Northern Highlands on Saturday and lost to Life Center, 54-41.

6. SADDLE RIVER DAY (18-5) -- Battled hard after trailing 31-19 at half, but fell 55-40 to Immaculate Conception in county semis. Will most likely see IC again in North B state semifinal game in March. Wins over Midland Park, Marist and Green Meadow during the week.

LAST WEEK'S RANKING: No. 8

7. NORTHERN HIGHLANDS (18-4) --  Highlanders got revenge on Ramapo by playing a flawless first half in knocking off in a 60-39 win and silenced Ridgewood, 51-26. Struggled at Lincoln on Saturday in losing 52-38. Games with IHA and  Eastside coming up.

LAST WEEK'S RANKING: No. 9

8. TEANECK (12-7) -- Had a terrific week, picking up three wins; starting with Old Tappan, 59-51, Bergenfield 59-37 and finished with a win in dramatic fashion beating Ramapo, 45-43. Amanda Gordan nailed a 3 with 20 seconds left to tie and Faith Ashby finished with floater at the buzzer. Plays at Saddle River Day on Feb. 27 in  a rematch of their county loss.

LAST WEEK'S RANKING: No. 16

9. PARAMUS CATHOLIC (15-7) --  Paladins suffered their third straight loss to IHA in Bergen County semifinal game, 65-34. Added wins over Bergenfield and DePaul 66-36.

10. RAMAPO (18-4) -- Played three quality opponents and dropped all three games. Northern Highlands got the best of them on Tuesday, 60-39, went to IHA Thursday, played real well in falling 35-29 and ended with tough loss at the buzzer to Teaneck, 45-43.

11. NORTH BERGEN (13-5) -- Lost to Lincoln for the second time this year, 51-48, and most likely will get them in the counties for the third and final time. Beat Hudson Catholic 55-26.

12. KENNEDY (14-7) -- Advanced to Passaic County semifinal against PCT next week after beating Wayne Hills, 65-44. Also added wins over Bergen Tech and Clifton, 59-38

13. NORTHERN VALLEY/OLD TAPPAN (15-5) -- Suffered  a loss at Teaneck, 59-51, on Tuesday and struggled with Hackensack before prevailing 46-36 with a late run.

14. HOLY ANGELS (14-6) -- Lost another tight game with IHA, 35-30, following the close 30-22 loss in the Bergen County quarterfinals three days earlier. Knocked off Tenafly, 51-27.

15. WESTWOOD (16-3) -- Posted convincing wins over Pascack Hills (46-27) and Ramsey (53-35).

16. NORTHERN VALLEY/DEMAREST (14-5) -- Beat Tenafly 47-28 and knocked off a pesky Pascack Valley team 42-32.

17. MAHWAH (14-6) -- Thunderbirds have run off five wins in a row in beating Ramsey 48-31, River Dell 49-45 and finishing the week with win over Bergenfield, 46-31

18. PASSAIC TECH (11-7) -- Knocked off Clifton twice, first game Tuesday (37-29) and the second game in the Passaic County Tournament, 59-34. Will see Kennedy on Saturday. Also fell to Eastside 55-37

19. PASCACK VALLEY (11-10) -- Lost a tough one to DePaul, 48-46, as well as to Demarest, 42-32, before getting back over .500 with win over Cresskill, 32-19.

20. RAMSEY (12-8) --  Lost to Mahwah, 48-31, then fell to Westwood, 53-35, before knocking off Tenafly 55-26.
