1. IMMACULATE HEART ACADEMY (16-1) -- Survived a scare in the Bergen quarterfinals, edging past Holy Angels 30-22, an opponent it beat by 22 earlier this season.  The Blue Eagles will meet Paramus Catholic in the semifinals, a team they were up 11 on at half on Tuesday before pulling away in the fourth quarter to win 63-38.  They also added a win over DePaul.  Holy Angels coming up again on Tuesday.

LAST WEEK'S RANKING: No. 1

2. EASTSIDE (14-3) -- Had a terrific win on the road beating Rumson, another top 10 team in the state, 49-48, on a 3-pointer by Kayla Diaz in the closing seconds off a Taylor Brown feed. Knocked off pesky rival in Kennedy, 48-35, and Bergen Tech, 64-10.

3. IMMACULATE CONCEPTION (17-5) --  Sam Fuehring and her team have put into high gear as of late, winning their ninth straight by dismantling Westwood, 67-31, in the Bergen County quarterfinals. Fuehring scored 26 to set up a Final 4 matchup against upstart Saddle River Day on Saturday.  The Blue Wolves also added an impressive win against Blair on Wednesday, 53-51.
SAM FUEHRING
LAST WEEK'S RANKING: No. 5

4. SECAUCUS (18-0) -- Three more wins to add to their undefeated season: Lyndhurst, Bergen Charter and Queen of Peace. The Patriots are preparing for the Hudson County Tournament and will be the favorite to capture their first title.
JULIA McCLURE
LAST WEEK'S RANKING: No. 3

5. PARAMUS CATHOLIC (13-7) -- After surviving last week against Ramapo, the Paladins totally controlled the game against Old Tappan in a 50-35 win that put them into the Bergen County semifinals against IHA.  It will be the third meeting between the two. PC lost to IHA on Tuesday, but rebounded with a thumping of Holy Angels, 58-44, a game where they led by 20 after three quarters.

6. RAMAPO (18-1) -- Rebounding off their heartbreaking loss to PC a week ago, the Raiders picked up three wins over Ridgewood, Indian Hills and Bergenfield. Emily Calabrese appears ready to return to lineup for a big week that includes games at No. Highlands on Tuesday, IHA on Thursday and Teaneck at home on Saturday.
REILLY WHITE

7. LINCOLN (14-3) -- Lions are on a roll winning 11 of their last 12, adding easy wins over Snyder and Hudson Catholic.  They will encounter North Bergen on Tuesday on the road and get Life Center on Thursday in a competitive week.
KIANTE JOHNSON
LAST WEEK'S RANKING: No. 10

8. SADDLE RIVER DAY (15-4) -- A terrific win for Danny Brown’s squad, their ninth straight as they knocked off defending county champion Northern Highlands, 48-45, in the quarterfinals of the Bergen County Tournament to set up a game against Immaculate Conception, a team they fared well against in a preseason scrimmage.  I did not view this as an upset, as SRD earlier this season dominated a Middletown South, a Top 20 team, and lost a close two-point game to Lincoln in December.
KAYLA OGE
LAST WEEK'S RANKING: No. 11

9. NORTHERN HIGHLANDS (16-3) -- Had its 12-game winning streak snapped by SRD, 48-45, in the quarterfinals of the Bergen County Tournament and ending a run of three straight trips to the county finals, including last year's title.  They added wins over Paramus and Hackensack and have Ramapo coming in on Tuesday.

10. NORTH BERGEN (12-4) -- Cruised past two more opponents, Kearny and Union City, a game where one of the best players in the area, Ices Hammer buried 36 points. They get Lincoln at home on Tuesday and the Lady Bruins will be a major factor in Hudson County Tournament.
ICIES HAMMER

11. KENNEDY (11-7) -- The Lady Knights are gaining ground on Eastside quickly, lost a competitive game to the Ghosts, a Top 5 team in the state, 48-35, and knocked off Passaic Tech, 52-33.  Five of their losses are to top 20 teams in the state: St. Rose, IHA, Eastside, Secaucus and New Providence.

12. NORTHERN VALLEY/OLD TAPPAN (14-4) -- Beaten by a more athletic Paramus Catholic squad, 50-35, in the quarterfinals of the Bergen County Tournament. Missing their 6-foot-2 center Alexandra George proved to be a large factor. Knights knocked off Pascack Valley, 44-34, and Bergenfield, 53-34.

13. HOLY ANGELS (14-5) -- Came close to pulling off the upset of the tournament in taking IHA to the final minutes, actually having a fourth quarter lead before falling, 30-22. The Angels get them IHA on Tuesday for the third time this season. The Angels also suffered a setback to Paramus Catholic, 58-44.

14. WESTWOOD (16-3) -- The Cardinals were never in the game against the more athletic and versatile Immaculate Conception team, losing 67-31.  The Cardinals were impacted by Sam McClutchey, who tried playing with a sprained ankle.  They struggled with Ridgfield Park earlier in the week before prevailing, 61-48. Also easily beat Fort Lee.

18. RAMSEY (11-6) -- Three big wins last week, starting with their 35-33 win over Dumont. The Rams knocked off 14-4 River Dell, 34-31, and finished with convincing win over Emerson.  Those wins should land Ramsey a top 4 seed in North1, Group 2 in March.
