ORADELL -- When healthy
River Dell's Trish Berkanish is one of the best midfielders in
Bergen County. She has the size to win balls in the air, she has
a good feel for the game and takes the proper angles and she has
a heavy foot that makes her dangerous from 30 yards and in. But
the key, at least in this year, has been her health as, when the
season started, she was coming off surgery, the resulting rehabilitation
and working her way back into shape. But judging by her play on
Friday in the North 1, Group 2 state sectional quarterfinals,
Berkanish is all the way back and the Golden Hawks are reaping
