CENTRAL OFFICES -- Welcome to The NJS.com Audio Spotlight.
Joining us for this edition is Saddle Brook head softball coach
Darren White, who was checking out the last few innings of Immaculate
Conception's 1-0 upset win over Northern Highlands on Saturday
in the opening round of the Bergen County Tournament.
Saddle Brook is seeded fourth and knocked off Fort Lee, 10-1,
in its opener. Kim Prevedel threw a no-hitter for five innings
before being removed and SB will host Immaculate Conception, which
won its first ever county tournament game, in Sunday's Round of
16.
Saddle
Brook handled IC in a regular season game last Wednesday, but
White was not surprised that the Blue Wolves were able to pull
the upset of Northern Highlands as the B-PSL is pitching rich
this season and IC was not overwhelmed. White touches on his team,
the rematch against Immaculate Conception and the B-PSL, which
is sure to have a team in next weekend's Final 8.
