Joining us today is Ken Baron, our newest correspondent making his first visit to the spotlight. Kenny checks in with his take on the North 1, Group 3 state sectional girls soccer final between No. 4 Ramapo and second-seeded and previously unbeaten Lakeland.

With a goal from Janelle Biagini midway through the first half, Ramapo got all the scoring needed to post a 1-0 win and take its fifth straight state sectional championship. The Green Raiders now advances to the Group 3 state semifinals where they will face Scotch-Plains Fanwood on Tuesday at Indian Hills High School.
