PARAMUS -- On this episode of NorthJerseySports.com's Where in North Jersey is Rich Barton?: Preseason Edition, Rich visits the Paramus Catholic football team.
The Paladins had one of their worst seasons in recent memory in 2015, going 3-6 to finish last in the Big North Patriot Division and failing to qualify for the Non-Public Group 4 state playoffs. They lost National Defensive Player of the year Rashan Gary (DT) to graduation but return a very strong defensive unit. PC has a new head coach in Dan Sabella, who will coach his first Paramus Catholic game at the University of Michigan on Friday, September 2 against St. Francis (MD).
Rich talks to Sabella, 6-2, 218 pound LB Drew Singleton (ranked No. 131 in the ESPN 300) and 6-3, 280 pound senior DT Corey Bolds (a top 10 recruit in NJ) to find out what to expect from the upcoming season.
