ST. ANTHONY (16-4) -- The Friars continue to post big wins despite their very challenging schedule. They were impressive on Saturday as they knocked off Lincoln (NY), 67 -53, behind RJ Cole’s 24 points. On Tuesday they beat Long Island Lutheran (NY), 55-49, as RJ Cole had 22 points and 8 assists in the win at home. They will be the No. 1 seed in the North Non- Public B state sectional tournament and will get a bye. Three games this week, starting with St. Augustine on Tuesday, Pascack Valley on Thursday and at Camden on Saturday. |

DON BOSCO PREP (20-1) --
The Ironmen got off to a slow start against Old Tappan and only led 25-23 at halftime. The second half was a different story, however, as they wore down the Knights and held them to just 14 points in a 57-37 Jamboree quarterfinal. That sets up a semifinal matchup against St. Joseph, a team they just beat on Tuesday night on the road, 58-46. behind Marcellus Earlington’s 18 points. At DePaul Tuesday and were given the No. 1 seed in North Non-Public A where they will get a bye to start. |

BERGEN CATHOLIC (17-4) --
The Crusaders cruised past Hackensack in the Jamboree quarterfinals on Sunday, 98-80, and were never threatened as they led 50-32 at halftime. They will meet Teaneck in the semifinals on Sunday. On Tuesday they beat Fair Lawn, 87-37, as Myles Wilmoth led with 14 points. They will travel to St. Joseph on Tuesday. They were given the No. 2 seed in the North Non-Public A state sectional tournament, will get a bye to start and should see Seton Hall Prep in the quarterfinals. |

HUDSON CATHOLIC (20-3) --
Easily beat Dickinson, 71-44, as Louis King led with 24 points and then beat Trenton Catholic on the road on Saturday, 79-53, as Jahvon Quinerly had a career-high 32 points. The Hawks were given the top seed in the Hudson County Tournament and the No. 2 seed in North Non-Public B behind St. Anthony. |

ST. JOSEPH REGIONAL (19-4) --The Green Knights could not shake Pascack Hills until the final few minutes of their Jambo quarterfinal matchup on Sunday as they went on to win 57-49 behind Chauncey Hawkins' 18 points which included 10 from the foul line. They will meet Don Bosco Prep, a team they lost to on Tuesday at home 58-46, on Sunday in the semifinals. Last Thursday they beat DePaul, 78-62, as Hawkins had 25 points. They are the No. 4 seed in the North Non-Public A state section and will meet Delbarton at home before most likely seeing Don Bosco again in the section semifinals |

TEANECK (19-5) --The Highwaymen learned this week that they will be without Juwan Daniels for the remainder of the season, however they responded with a tight win over 5th-seeded Dwight-Englewood in the Jamboree quarterfinals on Sunday 55-48. Ja’Quaye James led with 18 points and they will now meet top seed Bergen Catholic next Sunday in the semifinals. Old Tappan on Tuesday and they will be the No. 4 seed in the North 1, Group 3 states |

EASTSIDE (15-2) --
The Ghosts hammered Clifton in the quarterfinals of the Passaic County Tournament on Saturday, winning 62-33 in their first game since their coaching staff was removed. This game was 55-18 after three quarters as Lamar Johnson led with 19 points. Only last month they beat Clifton by 1. They will meet DePaul on Saturday in the semifinals. On Tuesday they will host Kennedy. |

KENNEDY (14-5) -- The Knights dismantled one loss Hawthorne on Saturday in the Passaic County quarterfinals, 79-48, and led 29-12 after the first quarter. Will meet Wayne Hills on Saturday in the semifinals. Jaylon Colon, who has emerged as their go to player, had 26 points. They will travel to Eastside on Tuesday for the big intra-city showdown |

DWIGHT-ENGLEWOOD (19-2) --
The Bulldogs went toe-to-toe with Teaneck on Sunday in the Jamboree quarterfinals and were tied after each of the first three quarters. However they fell 55-48 in the final 3 minutes of the game. Two easy wins prior to Sunday as they beat up on Ridgefield, 67-42, as Tyson Etienne had 24 points and then New Milford, 76-50, behind Etienne again, who had 18 points while three others who were in double figures. On Tuesday they will travel to Pascack Hills and on Saturday they will visit Old Tappan. D-E was given the 3 seed in the North Non Public B sectional, sitting behind St. Anthony and Hudson Catholic. |

ST. PETER'S PREP (16-5) --The Marauders are playing well as of late, now with 7 straight wins and 9 of 10 dating back to their loss to Dwight Englewood on Jan 21 . On Saturday they beat a good Rutgers Prep team, 60-53, as Shayne Simon had 13 points and 13 rebounds. They are getting great balance as they had four players in double figures. On Tuesday they beat North Bergen, 63-48, as Jorge Portorreal had 20 points and then beat Memorial, 79-38, as again four were in double figures led by Simon;s 17. They are the No. 2 seed in the Hudson County Tournament and the No. 3 seed in North Non-Public A. |

PASCACK HILLS (16-3) --
The Cowboys hung with St. Joseph’s on Sunday in the Jamboree quarterfinals and trailed only 35-33 after three quarters, but Nick Guillemain’s 25 points were not enough to pull off the upset. The Cowboys did beat Cliffside Park, 66-46, as Guillemain had 25 points. Two big games this week as they prep for the states; Tuesday Dwight Englewood and Thursday at Wayne Valley. They will be favorites to win North 1, Group 2 as the No. 1 seed and meet Dumont in their opening game. |

NV/OLD TAPPAN (15-5) --
The Knights hung with Don Bosco for the first half in the Jamboree quarterfinals as they trailed only 25-23 at the break, but got beat up in the second half as they lost 57-37. On Friday night they were stunned by their sister school Demarest, 52-45, and trailed 12-0 out of the gate and 31-13 at halftime. The road does not get any easier as they get Teaneck on Tuesday, Pope John on Thursday and Dwight-Englewood on Saturday all at home. They will be the No. 1 seed in the North 1, Group 3 states and will open with Montville at home. |

HACKENSACK (17-6) --
The Comets lost to top seed Bergen Catholic on Sunday in the Jambo quarterfinals, 98-80, as they did not have the horses to slow down the Crusaders. On Tuesday they rallied from 14 down in the fourth quarter to beat Ridgewood on their own court, 73-66, in overtime and captured the division title with the win. The Comets put five players in double figures and were led by both Toren Portee and Atiba Taylor, Jr. who both had 16 points. Indian Hills Tuesday and they wait for their state bracket to be finalized. |

WAYNE HILLS (16-4) --
The Patriots beat Paterson Charter, 61-49, on Saturday in the Passaic County quarterfinals and will play Kennedy in Paterson on Saturday in the semis. They used a 19-3 second quarter to create separation and held on as they were led by Justin Hodge’s 17 points. Earlier in the week they picked up a significant win as they beat sister school Wayne Valley, 67-61, behind Joey Belli's 15 points. Sayerville on Tuesday and PCT on Thursday. They are the No. 5 5 seed in North 1, Group 3 and will get West Essex first. |

SNYDER (12-7) --
The Tigers beat Lincoln, 44-41, in their only game last week and led 33-22 after three quarters before holding on in the fourth. Isiah Small and Corey Manning-Floyd each had 14 points. They were also awarded the No. 3 seed in the Hudson County Tournament. As far as the states, they will be the No. 6 seed in North 2, Group 3 and will meet Kennedy (Iselin) in their first game. |

NV/DEMAREST (11-8) -- The Norsemen are on fire after starting the season 0-6. They have won 11 of their last 13 games including an impressive 52-45 win over sister school and heavy favorite Old Tappan on Friday night as Jake Runyon led with 18 points. They held Justin Minaya to just 7 points in the big win. On Saturday they beat Ramsey, 60-44, as once again Runyon led with 20 points. Bergenfield and River Dell this week. They will be seeded 11th in North 1, Group 3 and will meet Pascack Valley in the first game on the road. |

The young DePaul squad came up with a huge effort on Saturday in the Passaic County quarterfinals and controlled the game throughout as they beat Wayne Valley, 89-73. The Spartans had five players in double figures and were led by Zion Bethes’s 19 points and Eddie Davis’s 18. They will meet Eastside on Saturday in the semifinals. Tuesday they get Don Bosco at home. They were given the No. 8 seed in the North Non-Public A state sectional tournament and will meet Oratory Prep in the first game. |
