ST. ANTHONY (15-0) --
The Friars ran off four more victories this past week in solidifying their spot as the No. 4 team in the nation. It started with a 77-44 beating of Trenton as Jagen Moseley and David Mading had 13 points. Next up was Columbia and it ended 63-31. That was followed up by a beating of Prestige Prep, 57-33, as Asante Gist led the way with 12 points. Finally, in a game that Jagen Moseley did not play in, they beat Hun, 54-48, as Idris Joyner scored 15 and was named the MVP. |

HUDSON CATHOLIC (11-3) -- The Hawks continue to play solid basketball as they sit at No. 8 in New Jersey and picked up three easy wins this week. Beat St. Peters Prep, 72-50, in a game that was 29-6 after the first quarter as Luther Muhammed clicked for 30 points. That was followed up with a 85-59 drubbing of Bayonne as Jahvon Quinerly led with 23 points. Finally, on Sunday they outclassed IC of Montclair, 87-57, as Muhammed and Quinerly had 28 and 20 respectively. |

RAMAPO (15-1) --
The Raiders traveled to Jersey City on Sunday for the Garden State Hoops Challenge and received a challenge from St. Peters Prep, but were able to hold on for a 58-54 win in overtime. Earlier in the week they had easy wins over Bergenfield (64-39) and Demarest (62-33) as Matt Latka led them in scoring in both games with a combined 38 points in the wins. Ridgewood Tuesday. As the No. 1 seed in the Jamboree they will face Dwight Englewood on Saturday at 4 pm at Northern Highlands. |

DON BOSCO PREP (15-2) --
Click off three more wins for the Ironmen capped by this weekend’s 57-50 win against American History in Toms River, a game in which they trailed by 20 points in the first half before rallying. Chris Paul led with 17 points. Earlier in the week they beat Old Tappan, 61-53, as Omar Mostafa had 14 points, which was followed up by a 83-55 drubbing of Wayne Hills as Brandon Anderson led with 14 points. Bergen Catholic and St. Joes visit Tuesday and Thursday. Will face Cliffside Park in the Jambo on Sunday in Tenafly. |

ST. JOSEPH REGIONAL (9-4) --
In their only game of the week the Green Knights beat Ridgewood, 67-50, and were up 23-4 after the first quarter. Nate Garvey had 18 points. I had them playing 13-1 Mater Dei on Sunday but did not get a report on this game. In the Jamboree the Green Knights will play Pascack Valley on Sunday in Tenafly at 11:45am. |

TEANECK (14-3) --
The Highwayman had a solid week except for Saturday when they ran into Seton Hall Prep and were beaten badly, 82-50. They picked up a big win 24 hours later as they beat Eastside, 58-54, behind Jawuan Daniels' 26 points. Beat Indian Hills, 84-37, as Ja’Quaye James had 25 points. Rivalry game with Hackensack was a 75-65 Teaneck win as it used a 23-12 third quarter to create separation. In the Jamboree they will play Saturday at 12:30pm at Northern Highlands. |

BERGEN CATHOLIC (13-3) --
The Crusaders won two games as they prepare for Don Bosco Prep on Tuesday night. They beat Passaic, 54-43, as Gabriel Stefanini had 13 points. They then beat Pascack Valley, 65-39, and led 50-25 after three quarters. Taj Benning had 18 points. In the Jamboree, they will play North Arlington on Sunday in Tenafly at 10 a.m. |

WAYNE VALLEY (11-2) --The Indians are the biggest movers of the week after beating Eastside, 58-51, as Nick Goodwin pumped in 23 points. They followed that up with another impressive win in beating Randolph, 66-65, as Alex Kokos had 20 points. The Indians are the No. 4 seed in the county tournament and should see Passaic Tech in the quarterfinals. |

EASTSIDE (9-6) --
The Ghosts went 2-2 for the week, but they lost the two big games. Fell to Wayne Valley, 58-51, and then to Teaneck on Sunday, 58-54, in another tight game. Earlier in the week they beat DePaul, 59-51, as Nhazier Smith had 17 and then beat Allentown, 49-41, as Smith had 15 points. Eastside is the No. 2 seed in the county tournament and will likely see Manchester in the quarterfinals. |

HACKENSACK (12-4) --
The Comets picked up three wins including a game they looked to have well in hand. Up 40-20 at the half against Kennedy on Sunday, held on thanks to an Ahmed Bailey 12-foot jumper at the buzzer to win 66-64. They also struggled mightily against Palisades Park in the opening round of the Jamboree, trailing by 3 through three quarters before winning, 73-65. They beat Tenafly Tuesday, 73-55, behind MJ Richardson's 29 points. The Comets will play Paramus Catholic on Sunday in the Jambo at Tenafly HS. |

The Patriots traveled to Don Bosco and had a rough night in an 83-55 loss. Beat Pascack Valley, 71-54, as Dorian Hodge scored 25 points. They are the No. 1 seed in the Passaic County Tournament and have a bye into the quarterfinals. |

The Golden Knights played well but fell short in losing to Don Bosco Prep, 61-53. Came back to easily knock off Fort Lee, 56-30, as Justin Minaya led the way with 14 points. They will get Pascack Valley on Tuesday and will play Saturday at Northern Highlands at 2:30pm against Pascack Hills in the Jambo. |

The Paladins picked up three wins with the closest one coming last Tuesday when they squeaked past Bergen Tech, 65-64, as EJ Anosike had 26 points. The Marauders took Ramapo to overtime on Sunday before falling, 58-54, as they nearly overcame a 15-point deficit in the fourth quarter. Earlier in the week they lost to powerful Hudson Catholic, 72-50, but in between they beat Dickinson, 55-48, as Jorge Portorreal had 13 points. |

The Cowboys cruised to three wins last week in preparation for their Jambo game with Old Tappan on Saturday at Northern Highlands at 2:30 pm. It began with a 64-53 win over Ridgefield Park as Nick Guillemain had 20 points. They beat Passaic Tech, 74-59, as Guillemain exploded for 40. Finally, beat Northern Highlands, 80-59, as Evan Schumer had 27 points. |

KENNEDY (9-6) --
The Knights lost all three of their games last week, starting with a buzzer beater against Passaic Valley where they lost 69-68. They then played a Top 20 team in the state in Westfield and fell 83-72. Trailed Hackensack by 20 at the half before rallying only to lose at the buzzer, 66-64. They are the No. 3 seed in the Passaic County Tournament and may see Passaic Valley again in the quarterfinals. |

The Tigers posted two more blowout wins as they easily beat North Bergen, 64-34, and then dismantled University Charter, 80-39, as Kenyan Goodson led in both games and scored a combined 44 points in the two games. That’s five straight wins of 17 points or more. |

UNION CITY (13-3) --Three blowout wins after being upset by Bayonne. Started with an 80-46 win over as they led 30-9 after the firstst quarter. Abraham Feliz had 20 points. Next was Hoboken and that was a 86-59 victory as Feliz again led the way with 25 points. Also beat Kearny, 72-48, and led 25-9 after one quarter. Marist on Tuesday. |

Beat Lakeland, 74-52, behind Xavier Hilbert’s 21 points and then easily beat Passaic Valley, 60-45, as Yohanly Ortiz had 14 points. They ended on a bad note in losing to Pascack Hills, 74-59. Should see Wayne Valley in the county quarterfinals. |
