RIDGEFIELD
-- The Cresskill Cougars (1-0) came out firing against the Ridgefield
Royals (0-1) and didn't let up. They took the season opener
53-29 dissapointing a hearty crowd at Ridgefield Memorial High
School.
Eric
Torenberg, Cresskill's senior sharpshooter, led the way with 26
points and Brian Hasenstab played strong in the middle posting
10 points.
Josh
Morales, who is the Ridgefield player interviewed for this report,
led the Royals with 12 points in the losing effort. Junior D.J.
Sargenti added 10. The Royals play their next game on the road
against Bogota Tuesday night.
